Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MyLMU ("Service," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

When you authenticate using a third-party provider such as Google OAuth, connecting that account to MyLMU constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Social login users are asked to review and confirm their agreement during onboarding before accessing protected areas of the Service.

Description of Service

MyLMU is a web application that allows users to:

  • Upload and import race result XML files from Le Mans Ultimate (LMU)
  • Track and analyze their racing statistics and telemetry data
  • View detailed race histories, lap times, and performance metrics
  • Upload .duckdb telemetry files for advanced lap analysis and visualization
  • Subscribe to MyLMU Pro for unlimited telemetry uploads, enhanced features, and priority support
  • Access AI-generated insights about their racing performance (if enabled)
  • Optionally install the MyLMU Sync Agent desktop application to automatically monitor the LMU Results folder, detect new race files, and upload them securely to MyLMU

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

Desktop Sync Agent

The MyLMU Sync Agent is an optional Windows desktop application that watches the LMU Results folder, securely uploads new race files, and can run in the background or the system tray. By installing or using the Sync Agent you agree to:

  • Grant the application permission to read the LMU Results directory you select
  • Allow the app to monitor that folder, collect file metadata, and upload matching race files to MyLMU automatically
  • Ensure the selected folder contains only LMU race data you are authorized to upload
  • Install Windows updates, antivirus exclusions, or certificates if required to run unsigned software
  • Keep the Sync Agent up to date when notified of new releases (the app checks for updates automatically)

The Sync Agent requires Windows 10 or Windows 11, an internet connection, and an active MyLMU account with a Pro or Beta Tester plan to use automated sync features. You may uninstall the app at any time; uninstalling stops folder monitoring but does not delete previously uploaded race data.

Subscription Plans and Payments

Plan Types

MyLMU offers the following subscription tiers:

  • Beta (Free): Unlimited session uploads, analytics, community features, and basic telemetry analysis
  • Pro: Everything in Beta (Free), plus unlimited telemetry uploads (up to 250 MB per file), advanced features, priority support, and access to new pro features

Pricing and Billing

Pro subscriptions are available as:

  • Monthly: €3.99 per month, billed monthly
  • Yearly: €36.99 per year, billed annually (save 23%)

Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You will be charged the then-current subscription price at each renewal. You can cancel at any time through your dashboard settings or the Stripe Customer Portal to prevent future charges.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed in Euros (€). If you are paying from outside the Eurozone, your bank or card issuer may convert the charge to your local currency and may apply additional fees. We are not responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by your financial institution.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard settings or the Stripe Customer Portal. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period
  • Your account will revert to Beta tier after the subscription expires
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by applicable law

Plan Changes

Upgrades from monthly to yearly (or vice versa) take effect at the next billing cycle. We reserve the right to modify pricing or plan features with reasonable notice. Beta access may be converted to a paid plan or revoked at our discretion.

MyLMU Telemetry

The MyLMU Telemetry feature allows you to upload and visualize .duckdb telemetry files exported from Le Mans Ultimate. By using this feature, you agree to the following:

  • You retain full ownership of your telemetry data
  • Analysis results, including derived data such as gear detection, are estimates and may not be 100% accurate
  • Pro users may store files on our servers subject to storage limits; stored files count toward your account quota
  • We are not responsible for data loss due to file corruption, browser limitations, or user error

Telemetry Data Retention

Your telemetry files are stored securely on our servers while you maintain an active Pro subscription. Upon subscription cancellation or expiry:

  • You will retain access to your telemetry files until the end of your current billing period
  • After your subscription expires, your telemetry files will be retained for a grace period of 60 days
  • If you do not renew your subscription within this 60-day period, your telemetry files may be permanently deleted to free up server storage
  • If you wish to download or export your telemetry files before your subscription expires, please contact us through the support channels available in your dashboard
  • Free and Beta users are subject to the standard file limits and retention policies for their tier

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before deleting your files, but you are ultimately responsible for maintaining backups of your telemetry data.

Account Creation and Responsibilities

Account Requirements

To use certain features of the Service, you must:

  • Create an account by providing a valid email address and password
  • Optionally authenticate using approved OAuth providers (e.g., Google) and authorize us to access your basic profile information (name, email address, and avatar) to create your account
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your account information as needed
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

Third-Party Authentication Providers

If you sign in with Google or another approved OAuth provider, you authorize MyLMU to receive the information those providers share with us (typically your name, email address, and profile photo). We use this information solely to create and secure your account, and you remain responsible for complying with the provider's own terms and privacy policy.

Social login users must review and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy during onboarding before gaining full access to the Service.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Not share your account credentials with third parties
  • Log out from your account at the end of each session
  • Immediately notify us of any suspected unauthorized use
Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service in any way that:

  • Violates any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Is fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful to others
  • Attempts to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Interferes with or disrupts the Service or servers and networks connected to the Service
  • Uploads malicious code, viruses, or harmful files
  • Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Uses automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation
  • Configures the Sync Agent to monitor folders that contain data you do not have the legal right to upload or that include sensitive personal information unrelated to LMU race files
User Content and Data

Your Data

You retain ownership of all race data and content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

  • Store, process, and display your data to provide the Service
  • Generate insights and analytics based on your data
  • Perform technical operations necessary to operate the Service
  • Automatically ingest and process files uploaded through the Sync Agent, including metadata needed to detect duplicates and confirm successful delivery

When you enable automatic folder monitoring you represent that you have the necessary rights to upload the contents of that folder, and you understand that new qualifying race files will be uploaded to MyLMU without additional confirmation.

Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Contains malicious code or security vulnerabilities
  • Infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
  • Is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
  • Contains personal information of others without consent
Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
  • Remove any proprietary notices or labels from the Service
  • Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission

Le Mans Ultimate and related trademarks are property of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the creators of Le Mans Ultimate.

Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from errors. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service
  • Perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt service
  • Update features or remove functionality
  • Limit access to the Service or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Publish new versions of the Sync Agent and require you to install updates to continue using automated syncing
Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of data or insights

We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any information provided through the Service.

You acknowledge that installing the Sync Agent grants it access to the folder you choose. You are solely responsible for ensuring the folder does not contain confidential or unrelated information, for configuring antivirus or firewall exceptions needed for unsigned software, and for uninstalling the desktop application if you no longer wish to use it.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Loss of subscription fees for periods during which service was available

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €100. Subscription fees paid are subject to our refund policy as described in the Subscription Plans and Payments section.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you upload or transmit through the Service
Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and associated data
  • All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your dashboard settings.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
