MyLMU Coach is an AI racing coach that reads your MyLMU data — imported sessions, telemetry files, rankings, and curated game knowledge — to answer questions in plain language.
Early access (beta) — Coach is in active early access. We are constantly tuning models and adding data sources to improve accuracy. Treat responses as guidance, not absolute truth — cross-check race positions, lap times, and incidents on your session pages and in the telemetry viewer.
How Coach picks a mode
Coach registers different capabilities depending on context:
General mode
Active on the dashboard or any page without an open session or telemetry file.
Uses your imported career data and knowledge bases:
- Race counts, wins, podiums, poles, DNFs
- Recent sessions and performance by track or car
- MyLMU Skill and Discipline rankings
- Reference lap targets and pace comparisons
- Le Mans Ultimate game knowledge (classes, tracks, rules, corner names)
Session mode
Active on a Race, Qualifying, or Practice session page (or when session context is attached).
Uses that session's stored results plus the full session file when available:
- Standings, lap times, sector gaps, incidents
- Pit stints, tyre wear, fuel, and virtual energy from XML
- Position changes and Lap 1 dynamics
- Community comparison (same data as Deeper Analytics)
- Telemetry files linked to this race
Telemetry mode
Active when a .duckdb file is open in the Telemetry viewer.
Uses high-frequency trace data from the recording:
- Speed, throttle, brake, steering along distance
- Ghost and reference lap comparison
- Racing line deviation, wheel slip, G-force
- Setup data embedded in the file
- Segment-level deltas for specific corners
If you also have session context open, Coach combines both modes.
What Coach does not do
- Access other users' private data
- Guarantee every session has full XML or telemetry — missing data is reported honestly
- Replace the in-app charts — Coach sees summaries and samples, not every raw channel
- Invent incidents, DNFs, or corner events not present in your data
Early access
This matches the Early Access Notice in Coach → Help. Coach is in early access (beta) — models and data sources are tuned continuously. Verify important conclusions against your session data and telemetry viewer. Details: Limitations.
