MyLMU stores your theme choice separately for the dashboard and documentation.
Dashboard theme
- Open the user menu (your avatar or name in the dashboard top bar)
- Toggle light or dark mode
Your choice is saved in the browser and applied on your next visit to dashboard pages (including Rankings and team join flows that use dashboard chrome).
The dashboard defaults to dark if you have not chosen a theme.
Documentation theme
On any docs page, use the theme control:
| Viewport | Location |
|---|---|
| Desktop | Bottom of the left sidebar |
| Mobile | Open the hamburger menu (breadcrumb bar) — theme switcher is in the drawer header |
| Option | Behavior |
|---|---|
| System | Follows your OS light/dark preference |
| Light | Always light docs theme |
| Dark | Always dark docs theme |
Docs theme applies only while you are on /docs pages. It does not change the dashboard.
Dark mode is slightly preferred
MyLMU launched with dark mode first — in the dashboard and on this docs site. Most layouts, telemetry charts, and documentation styling were tuned for dark backgrounds before light mode was added. Light mode is fully supported; dark may look a little more polished in a few places.
Tips
- If dashboard charts or telemetry views look wrong after switching theme, refresh the page once
- Docs System theme updates when your OS changes appearance (may require a navigation or refresh)
