Small changes to how you ask questions can improve answers and reduce credit usage.
Be specific
| Instead of | Try |
|---|---|
| "How was my race?" | "How was my pace in the final stint?" |
| "Analyze my lap" | "Compare T3 braking to my ghost lap" |
| "Tell me about my career" | "What are my top 3 tracks by win rate?" |
Direct questions process less unnecessary data.
Choose your depth
| Need | Use |
|---|---|
| Career trends, rankings | General mode (cheapest) |
| Race summary, incidents, stints | Session mode |
| Corner braking, racing line | Telemetry mode (most expensive) |
Reserve telemetry traces for corners where you need technical coaching.
Use prompt chips
Suggested chips on empty chat are tuned for efficient, high-quality answers:
- Career Summary — dashboard overview without loading extra data
- Summarize Session — race recap from session page
- Braking vs Reference — telemetry corner analysis starter
Start a new chat
Coach remembers the last 15 messages in a conversation. Long threads accumulate context and can increase costs.
Use New chat when:
- Switching to a different session or telemetry file
- Changing topic entirely
- A conversation has grown long and responses feel slow or expensive
Name corners and segments
In telemetry mode, reference corners by:
- Official name ("Lesmo 2", "Arnage")
- Turn number ("T3", "Turn 7")
- Sector ("final sector braking")
Verify important conclusions
Coach is in early access. Cross-check race positions, incident counts, and lap times against your session page and telemetry viewer.
