The Overview tab is the default when you open a session. It combines the session header, key metrics, pace analysis, and stint information in one place.
Session header
The header card at the top summarizes the run:
Track and car
- Track name — links to track insights and per-circuit analytics
- Car name — links to car analytics for that model
- Session type chip — Race, Qualifying, Practice, or Qualifying Practice
- Mode chip — Multiplayer, Offline, or AI
Session badges
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Driver Swaps | Multiple drivers shared one car (endurance) |
| Multiclass | More than one car class in the session |
| Wet Tires | Session detected as wet conditions |
Hero metrics
| Metric | Race | Qualifying | Practice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grid / finish positions | Yes | Grid focus | — |
| Finish status | DNF, None, etc. | — | — |
| Best lap time | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Laps completed | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Total race / track time | Race time | Track time | Track time |
| Pit stops | Yes | — | — |
| Starting tires | When in file | When in file | When in file |
| Fuel ratio | When in file | When in file | When in file |
| Track length | When in file | When in file | When in file |
| Split | Owner-editable | Owner-editable | Owner-editable |
Split is not stored in the game file — set it yourself (for example 3/24) to remember which lobby split you raced in. Only the session owner can edit it.
Link telemetry
Use Link telemetry file(s) or Manage telemetry in the header to attach .duckdb recordings. See Linking telemetry.
Driver swap banner
If the session is a driver swap race, a Driver Swap Session notice appears. Per-lap fields like tyre wear and fuel may be incomplete — often only exported for laps you drove. See Driver Swaps & Data Gaps.
Session KPI panel
Below the header, KPI cards summarize your driving in this session:
- Best lap time and optimum lap (ideal lap from best sectors)
- Fastest sectors — best S1, S2, S3 and which lap each came from
- Average lap time and consistency (spread between best and worst)
- Top speed maximum
- Average fuel and virtual energy use per lap (when present)
- Most worn tyre at end of session (when tyre data exists)
When rivals are selected from Standings (Compare), KPI cards show a per-rival delta under the main value for consistency, optimum lap, average lap, fastest sectors, top speed, average fuel/VE use, and most-worn tyre. Deltas are signed as rival − you (same idea as Lap Data). Most-worn tyre shows the rival’s tyre label rather than a numeric delta. For lap-by-lap gain/loss colors, use Charts & Lap Data.
Pace Benchmark
The Pace Benchmark section compares your pace to community reference times (OhneSpeed spreadsheet data):
- Tier labels — Alien, Competitive, Good, Midpack, Tail-ender (dry sessions only)
- Your pace vs reference — how you compare to the benchmark for this track and car
- Lap distribution — histogram of lap times vs alien and reference pace
Pace modes
Switch how pace is calculated:
| Mode | Uses |
|---|---|
| All Laps | Every lap with a recorded time |
| Valid Laps | Laps with complete sectors and no invalid flags |
| Race Pace (107%) | Valid laps within 107% of your best (needs at least 3 laps) |
| Best Lap | Your single fastest valid lap |
Wet sessions: OhneSpeed benchmarks are dry-only. A wet disclaimer appears — tier labels may not apply accurately.
vs Previous Session
When you have an earlier session on the same track, Overview shows how this run compares to your previous pace (improvement or slower).
Stints and driver swaps
For driver swap sessions, the Driver Swaps stint block lists who drove which lap range for your car. Data comes from the session result file (and merged schedules when co-driver sessions are linked).
If stints look wrong, try linking co-driver sessions or contact support.
Co-driver and Trophy Room
On driver swap sessions you may see:
- Co-driver suggestions — link with a teammate who uploaded the same stint
- Linked co-drivers — confirmed links across uploads
- Share with your team — add the full crew result to your team Trophy Room when all co-drivers are linked
See Crew sessions for the full flow.
Practice sessions
Practice has Overview, Charts, and Lap Data when lap data exists. Standings and Race Stats tabs are hidden — focus on best lap, consistency, and pace benchmark instead of grid position.
Data gap banner
If tyre wear, fuel, and virtual energy are all missing from the file, a banner explains that some stats may look incomplete. This is most common on multiplayer sessions without driver swaps. Driver swap uploads often include resource data only for your stints; DNF, DQ, or None sessions may cut off when you leave the server. Details: Driver Swaps & Data Gaps.
