After Overview and Standings, use Race Stats (or Qualifying Stats) and Race Director (or Qualifying Director) for deeper session analysis. Both tabs require a loaded full report and are hidden for Practice sessions.
Race Stats / Qualifying Stats
This tab highlights performance metrics and class-level incident analysis.
Session highlight cards
Typical cards include:
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Best lap time | Your fastest lap |
| Fastest sectors | Best S1, S2, S3 and which lap |
| Average lap time | Mean across laps (mode depends on pace setting) |
| Consistency | Delta between best and worst lap |
| Top speed | Maximum speed reached |
| Optimum lap | Theoretical best from sector bests |
| Avg fuel / virtual energy | Per-lap consumption when data exists |
| Most worn tyre | Highest wear at session end when tyre data exists |
Qualifying sessions emphasize single-lap pace and sector times. Race sessions add stint-relevant fuel, tyre, and energy summaries when the result file includes them.
Class incident analytics (races)
For multiplayer races, additional sections may appear:
- Incident counts — contacts and off-tracks for your class
- Rivalries — drivers you interacted with most
- Clumsiness meter — how incident-heavy the class was
- Severity breakdown — light vs heavy incidents
- Chaos over time — incident rate across laps
These help you understand race rhythm and whether the lobby was clean or chaotic — separate from your pure pace.
Missing data
If tyre wear, fuel, and virtual energy are absent from the file, related cards may be empty and a banner may appear. See Driver Swaps & Data Gaps.
Race Director / Qualifying Director
The Director tab is a timeline of session events plotted over laps or time. It appears when the result file contains event data — not every session has enough events to show this tab.
Event types
Events may include:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Incidents | Contact, off-track |
| Track limits | Track limit violations |
| Sectors | Sector timing markers |
| Damages | Damage events |
| Driver changes | Driver swap pit stops |
| Penalties | Time or drive-through penalties |
| Pit stops | Pit in/out, compound changes |
Using the timeline
- Scroll the timeline to follow the session chronologically
- Use filters to show or hide event categories
- Correlate spikes on Charts (position, lap time) with incidents here
- Driver swap sessions show driver changes and pits at the car level
Qualifying Director
Qualifying sessions use the same timeline concept with a Qualifying Director label. Fewer pit and strategy events; more focus on laps and track-limit incidents.
Practice sessions
Practice does not show Race Stats or Race Director tabs. Use Overview (pace benchmark, KPIs) and Charts / Lap Data for practice analysis.
